On Monday, October 24th, 2016, Marshfield Town Meeting voted in favor of the flood insurance rate maps (FIRMs), adopting them.
As a reminder, the effective date of the new FIRMs is November 4th. This is the date most insurance decisions should be made by. We are here to help if needed!
This is only the beginning of a busy year. We will now be following the appeal the Town of Marshfield, Scituate and Duxbury is filing on the FIRMs. The National Flood Insurance Program will also be re-authorized in 2017, and we will be active in the legislative process.
