Regional Meeting
Due to the changing pace of the legislation, the focus continues to be the regional effort. As a reminder, The next meeting for the Massachusetts Coastal Coalition is Thursday, December 12th, at Saint Anns Parish Hall, 591 Ocean Street, Marshfield MA at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome. The agenda will be first to recap any legislative updates, hear updates from member groups and communities, and continue the discussion of missions, goals, and other action items.
Update from Congressman Keating
Recently in the Patriot Ledger, there was an article outlining how Congressman Keating had asked specialists look into the accuracy of the math behind the maps. The findings from these specialists were, as we suspected, the modeling was not done right, and used Pacific coastal mapping methods. The article is here:
